After a long and successful career in the Radio Business, I moved to Las Vegas and entered the Financial Services Industry. In doing so, I recognized that parents second biggest financial concern is how to pay for their children’s college education. A college education is essential, expensive and it’s a business. My focus is using the knowledge I’ve gained as a Certified College Advisor with College Funding Solutions, Inc. and the American College Foundation to help families get their children the best education at the best price.
My mission is to help High School Students elevate their Academic, Social and Community involvement. The more attractive a student’s record, the greater the interest colleges have in getting them to attend. I’m also committed to making sure families take the actions needed to structure their finances, thereby maximizing their student’s awards from the colleges they want to attend.
I attended High School in Rugby, North Dakota and the University of North Dakota. Since then, I received my Certified Radio Marketing Consultant and Certified Digital Marketing Consultant degrees from the RAB. In my Radio Broadcast career, I hired, trained and managed over 100 Radio Sales Executives. I also acted as the agent for families in the sale and purchase of a number of Radio Station in the upper Midwest. I am also a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International.
I have two sons, 7 grandchildren and am about to become a Great Grandpa! I enjoy driving one of my cars in SCCA Autocross racing and another one on the drag strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I also enjoy touring on my Harley-Davidson and am still working on getting my golf handicap back down to a respectable level, after taking about 15 years off from the game.
My favorite quote comes from Ray Croc, the founder of McDonald’s – “The more I help others to succeed, the more I succeed.” Another favorite comes from Sir Winston Churchill, who said “Our future is in our hands. Our lives are what WE choose to make them.”
