The ACF, headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, serves as your college preparation cornerstone with all information and related strategies delivered entirely from the family's perspective.
Through the ACF, families also have the opportunity to explore further, even more detailed, college planning solutions from leading companies, receive college planning-related email updates directly from the ACF, and keep apprised of the latest developments regarding college financing and admission details.
Our website, educational resources, and grant-supported programs were created to help high school students and their families confidently navigate every stage of the college planning process.
Today's families face an overwhelming number of decisions—from careers, majors, and colleges to scholarships, financial aid, tuition costs, and funding strategies. Add in admissions requirements, application deadlines, FAFSA, award letters, and comparing financial aid offers, and it's easy to see why the process can feel overwhelming.
While college costs continue to rise, families have more opportunities than ever to reduce those expenses. With the right guidance, a clear plan, and an understanding of how the process works, achieving an affordable college education is absolutely possible.
Colleges seek students who demonstrate academic achievement, personal growth, leadership, involvement, and a genuine commitment to reaching their goals.
For students, preparation begins long before senior year. For parents, understanding the process is one of the most valuable investments they can make in their child's future.
Our Visionary Scholarship is a bi-annual award. There are five (5) awards given with each bi-annual deadline – with a total of ten (10) college scholarships awarded for each school year.
